Where is Croatia?

Croatia is a country located in Southeast Europe, on the eastern coast of the Adriatic Sea. It shares borders with Slovenia to the northwest, Hungary to the northeast, Serbia to the east, Bosnia and Herzegovina to the southeast, and Montenegro to the southeast. Croatia also has a long coastline along the Adriatic Sea to the west. The capital and largest city of Croatia is Zagreb.

Flight Recommendations

We recommend flying to Venice Italy and then we will arrange a shuttle bus for those that prefer is option. The shuttle is $150/one way per person to the resort in Croatia. The bus ride to the resort takes approximately 2.5 hours. 

 

Please Note: The flight will be an overnight flight so you  need to travel on the 12 to make it to Venice on the 13th. Or you can fly on the 11th and make it there on the 12th and book a hotel for one night. The shuttle is being arranged for the day of the 13th.

What type of food can we expect?

The resort has a restaurant on property called Luciano. This Michelin recommended restaurant is opened for all gastronomy lovers. Along with an à la carte daily menu, in the evening the creative team will demonstrate its outstanding culinary skills by presenting tasting menus inspired by traditional Istria but served in a modern way. To savour the ultimate gastronomic experience, a sommelier will gladly guide you in pairing your chosen menu with premium wines from our walk-in wine cellar.

We wanted to provide you with some important information regarding room occupancy and pricing.

The rooms are designed for double occupancy, means each room can comfortably accommodate two guests and as such, the cost is $1400 per couple. ($700 per person) 

 

This rate includes complimentary breakfast and Wi-Fi. It also includes full use of the spa/sauna and pool. Any other services or requests will be an additional fee.

For our single occupants we will organize rooms for you. For additional information, please feel free to reach out to us.

What fun activities will be available?

Novigrad is a popular tourist destination, offering a blend of cultural, historical, and natural attractions. Visitors can explore the narrow streets of the old town, visit historical sites such as the Church of St. Pelagius and St. Maximus, and enjoy the seaside promenade. The town is also known for its seafood restaurants, where visitors can savor fresh local cuisine.

Can I book a truffle hunting experience?

A truffle hunt is a special and unforgettable event for any fan of this subterranean mushroom. We will tell you a story of our family truffle hunting tradition and convey the full experience from the adrenaline and anticipation of seeking this treasure to preparing the joint find and enjoying the aromas and flavors of our truffle products and delicacies.

Check Passports - Important info

You need a valid U.S. passport to enter Croatia. EU regulations require that U.S. passport holders have no less than three months' validity when they depart Croatia.

U.S. passport holders with less than three months may be denied entry. The U.S. Embassy strongly suggests that you have at least six months of validity to avoid problems when you travel.
